Adventure to Grønfjorden: A Journey Through the Arctic Wilderness

Join us for an unforgettable expedition to Grønfjorden. This tour takes you across snow-capped peaks and vast valleys, over glaciers, and past historic hunting cabins and abandoned mining settlements. Along the way, our experienced guide will make several stops to share insights about the fascinating sights and history of the landscape.

We can almost guarantee sightings of Svalbard reindeer, and if we’re lucky, we may also spot seals, ptarmigans, or the elusive arctic fox.

Important Note Regarding Local Travel

Following the decision by Visit Svalbard’s general assembly to exclude products linked to Russian state-owned companies due to the invasion of Ukraine, we want to clarify that this specific activity has no economic ties to Russian state-owned entities. Please be aware that we will not be visiting any buildings or utilizing facilities in Barentsburg. We will observe the settlement from a distance as we pass by.

Essential Information

To ensure a safe and enjoyable trip for everyone, please note the following:

• Driver’s License: All drivers must carry and present a valid driver’s license.
• Age Limit: Minimum age for participation is 10 years.
• Health & Safety: For safety reasons, we cannot accommodate pregnant participants on our snowmobile tours.
• Medical & Dietary: Please inform us of any food allergies or health conditions prior to departure.
• Vision: If you use glasses, we recommend switching to contact lenses for a more comfortable experience under the helmet.
