Svalbard Hotel The Vault is Longyearbyen newest hotel, opened on February 1st 2018. The hotel offers 35 rooms in two different room categories.
Our focus is to give our guests the best service. The hotel is placed in the heart of Longyearbyen, a perfect start to all amazing adventures Svalbard has to offer. Our reception is staffed 24hours a day.
The hotel has a cozy and modern design inspired on Svalbard`s Seed Vault. The Seed Vault is a secured storage, and there seeds from all over the world are safely placed. Here on Svalbard we have the permafrost, something that helps the seed to be dry and cold, all year around.
